I don't think they get delivery till 2006 or thereabouts for many of the new jets....they would only regret that purchase if even better deals are on offer now.
I was searching on the internet and it seems that by April 2002 International passengers on Qantas flights had rebounded to near pre-Sept 11 levels. QAN weathered the storm easily because it picked up domestic numbers from Ansett.
We all have major problems if SARS and Iraq are still a factor in 3 years time and worrying about Qantas's share price will be the least of them.
