IMO China are not interested in war.. They only really want Taiwan, which is been part of china since the 1600's anyway and is now just ran by the Chinese that that lost the civil war on the mainland.
South China sea is for defense and trade security/power not for expansion...
yes they want to take Taiwan and there could be a war if we try to stop them if/when they make there move, but I don't think they are interested in invading anywhere else anytime soon...
They are not like the yanks with nukes stationed all over the world, not invading and taking down foreign governments ever other decade etc.
Im am concerned about the brain washing and the government having more control over their citizens though, as if they get another pyscho crackpot leader in the future things could get very ugly very quickly.
