As we are witnessing now, war could only be about hacking,
I saw one pundit theorise that China, instead of invading, might run a blockade of Taiwan. What would the response to that be? Would the USA stand back and watch? Send in an aircraft carrier and risk it being sunk? Impose sanctions?
I guess if we do go to war then the first target would be Pine Gap. If that happened then US troops might use Australia as a staging ground.
