    The Waratah battery isn't even finished . Because the coal fleet is so unreliable, despite being around for decades, the government had to put part of it on standby . Better known as backup .

    Remember how the RWNJs used to bang on about how renewables needed backup ?? Funny how that's turned around , isn't it ?

    No wonder there are 170 battery projects under consideration with 40 being built today .

    The industry is sick of old , worn out , poorly maintained, unreliable coal generators. The market is voting with it's feet .
