    It was because coal dropped the ball once again . Great to see renewables and batteries stepping up .

    Why couldn't NSW cope with a busy energy day?

    NSW had multiple coal-fired power stations offline, leading to energy supply constraints.

    When temperatures reached the high 30s on Wednesday, four out of 10 coal-fired power generators were out of action.
