Dbd, I think you will find that face-sampling hammers did not come into industry usage until the early to mid 1990's, some time after the preparation of the resource report in question. Prior to that, RC hammers utilised a crossover sub located above the hammer to get sample from the hole to the inner tube and this process led to widespread contamination under certain conditions.
Do you really believe that the Mt Freda deposit would have been ignored for 30 years if there was any significant gold mineralisation there? Think about it.
