I wasn't at the open day to hear what PH apparently said about fracture stimulation and I can't take your word for it as there is so much BS appearing on these threads at the moment.
But my take on it is more surface area of the coal is accessed through the use of horizontal wells, which eliminates the need for stimulation.
NSW has been using gas from fracked wells in the Cooper Basin for years!
My main point was in regards to reducing the well footprint even more than it already is. Which I think is a good thing!
