I miss the days when we used to talk about drilling configurations and flow rates.

With all this new technology being used in the US its possible to dramatically reduce the number of wells needed by drilling multiple wells from the one pad, apparently 6 - 8 horizontals is possible from one pad, and that can replace the need for 20+ vertical wells. So instead of 500 wells we may only need 100 wells.

I'm no expert in this area, but its pretty exciting stuff, we could potentially supply the entire nsw market export the excess and make a few farmers and the community quite well off.

Will be interesting to see the Richmond valley councils decision after their big tour of the QLD gas fields.
