They could probably send Cricket Australia broke. The ICC gave them the bans that they did, and Cricket Australia decided to overide that. The court case would not look good for CA, as precedents would be brought up and even agreements (including tight clauses) signed by players, would not support CA. Lawyers would already be looking at contracts, and seeing how much they can make out of this debacle.
This whole thing has been wrong with a big dose of dumb but Cricket Australia is about to be sent broke.
