No one here would have the slightest doubt that you could find an opinion which says that the models have been validated. There are MANY opinions to the contrary.
I have started keeping a list of scientists willing to overtly support the sceptical cause and it shows what I have said before: That sceptics are mainly mature tenured/retired people. This would be because of the system outlined above that younger, more vulnerable scientists just can't risk voicing their opinion.
I don't know about you but consensus by fear does not sound a good basis for formulating national policy.
