Warning about COMMSEC

I just thought i would let you guys know about the appalling behavior of COMMSEC.3 weeks ago (26th November) I received an SMS asking me to make contact with COMMSEC in relation to updating my details.
I did as requested with in the hour of receiving the notification. I filled out the required form, scanned it and emailed back. I have been trading for over 10 years so it appears they have misplaced my details with regards to date of birth, according to COMMSEC my year of birth was listed as 1828????

I didn't receive any further SMS communication but an email came thru as below 1st December 2020;

We are requesting you to contact us in relation to a matter on your Commsec account.
Please call Commsec on 13 15 19 (within Australia: 8am to 7pm, EST, Mon to Fri) +61 2 9115 1417 (from outside Australia: 8am to 7pm, EST, Mon to Fri) to discuss this matter further. Notes have been left against your account so any representative who answers your call will be able to assist you. Please quote your client ID or account number when you call. Kind regards, CommSec Client Service.

One week later, with out a phone call, SMS or follow up email, COMMSEC lock my account so I can not trade. As things progress very quickly on the share market (as we saw with S2R on Monday) I now am in a position where I can not trade. Numerous calls to COMMSEC have proved fruitless, I have even attended my local branch and provided copies of ID but they are still stating it will now take 3/4 days to unlock my account.This has already cost me a considerable amount of money and may cost me a lot more by the time the COMMSEC Gods decide to push the button to unlock my account. I am outraged to say the least. Be careful people....
