I have just been notified by someone I know who works within the department, apparently they were notified this morning. The info is that these parasites are phoning people and pretending to be from Centrelink, to obtain personal details and bank details, the payments are not coming from Centrelink but from the ATO - so whether you are entitled to payment or not, be aware that Centrelink are not the callers, the Parasites are using the payment as a means to collect bank details and I guess knowing that many are expecting this payment will perhaps be less guarded due to this bonus coming soon. Perhaps if you get this call,note the time, and get onto your phone company and explain the call, the warning and the time the call came in, for them to trace it hopefully so these parasites can be caught. Unless the AFP have this info they can't tell who at this time is making them or who will get one next, as the calls are not coming from Centrelink or to Centrelink
