Got back from 6 weeks in the USA last Monday and spent most of last week liquidating about 70% of my portfolio to lock in profits. Sitting on the sidelines for a few weeks to see how all this pans out.
The sub prime fiasco still has a long way to play out IMHO.
Bought a book by Peter Schiff at SeaTac airport on the way home..."Crash Proof. How to Profit from the coming economic collapse". While not endorsing his views 100%, I think a lot of what he suggests about the US economy makes great sense.
