Gone up markedly in the last few minutes, currently -78 and rising. The intraday futures chart shows a deep bottom spike a little while ago, then onwards and upwards from there.
The FTSE has also suddenly taken a turn upwards. It's still well in the red, but has suddenly moved up.
Has there been some announcement by a reserve bank or something?
Or is it the bargain hunters starting to come out of the shadows?
