i agree with you Douglasmay,it is fear that caused the indices to fall as far as it did in the GFC and then recover so quickly as it did because people simply stopped spending etc due to panic and it took the governments to stimulate the economies for everyone to see positive growth and data numbers.And being so sensationalistic can do more harm than good. It is also likely that we have hit a support level for the major indices and barring anything real actually occuring other than the speculation of late of might happen things should settle down.
