Agree Dub, something is going to happen. Perhaps a Bretton Woods Conference as happened after WW2. The major powers have backed themselves into a corner, the crazy nations have had their day in the sun, now it is time for big, real decisions backed by military power and will. That is why the $US is the reserve currency, it is backed by a massive military machine. The financial world had better keep their heads down as they are part of the cause. It takes a war or threat of to make some big changes. They are overdue. GFC2 will happen because no difficult decisions have been made. Europe is grinding towards a solution but much pain must be felt by the seaside nations first. The US has more chance of coming out on top because of their mix of people, religion,technology and military might.
