Read the conditions on your margin loan
if you had an account with tricom, you signed away your beneficial ownership of your shares to tricom.
This means if tricom goes belly up you become an unsecured creditor, which means you are way down the list in getting your money back.
I wonder if ANZ, jb were , etc are the same?
