The fallout from the expiry of the May Oil contract, may still in the tube. Many futures oil traders long May will be owing brokers a lot of money. Margin calls would have gone out, but not enough to stop serious damage.
BTW the further out oil contracts, may resemble a queue of lemmimgs waiting their turn to take a dive off the cliff.
