Dopey, I couldn't help posting this thread. You read a trashy article like the above and you see one extreme.
The balance of reputable commentators and economists I read can see no reason why the US markets can't go on.
Of course there are those that are obscenely committed to unjustifiable market heights and want to drag everyone along for a share of the profits.
This market is so distorted by CB manipulation that shall continue on and on so while that happens perhaps the markets will keep rising until/if the FED raises rates.
From that point it's guess work on guess work.
Plenty of buying pressure in the US markets currently and there is the possibility that market contractions through this year will be small as buyers rush the dips.
As for being long US markets, I'm not until we see what transpires in Europe and the US in the next 48 hours.
The EZ has very real problems and Gucci's not going to fix them by tinkering.
