GRR might be rolling in cash but they are essentially Chinese owned/controlled. Share holder trust in current management is non existent.
I held GRR for a while but there are very deep issues there which explain the crazy valuation. GRR shouldn't be compared to anything as it's pretty unique.
I doubt anything like fair value for them will happen anytime soon. And it isn't (despite some sugestions on GRR HC threads) a growth stock. The price appears to be solely driven by the dividend yield.
But there is a lesson here for HIO. Under no circumstances should they (and we as share holders) accept a significant Chinese stake. Something that has been prevented previously so management is acutely aware of this.
