the usual bunnings trick is the late friday shift when the prettiest lass in an overall asks if you need decking. then you'll get taken to the back of the shed display where you'll be shown a variety of options. 'if it's hardwood, do you want it now', is usually the first question. if it's softwood then you'll get all kinds of excuses about it not being very popular. so be very careful. getting yourself into this mess is fine but getting yourself out, well maybe that's something you'd rather want a bit time to think about.
