ASIC doesn't even carry out their responsibilities towards companies IMHO; I don't think they care about "ordinary" rampers.
The offended party also may need to prove that the person giving that info benefitted from it.
Someone in Aussie was prosecuted but he was charging fees as well. But that concerned inside info.
ASIC ought to be much harder on the misdeeds committed by companies.
