re: warrant query Hi Yolande ... Warrant Issuer's are required by the ASX to have a 'presence' in both sides of the Market.

Issuer's (usually investment banks) use sophisticated computer programs that auto calculate Bids/Asks in 'real time' ...

Warrant quotes are invariably higher than ETO's expressed as higher Implied Volatility to compensate for this 'market making' facility provided by Issuers.

If you see only one quote on either side you will realise this is the Issuer. Warrant Issuers monopolise 'quotes' as traders have a tendancy to sit back and wait to see the Issuer quotes before entering the Market.

A favourite trick of Issuers is to quote what seems 'fair value' but for a small volume ... say 10,000 which will get taken quickly and this action will 'trigger' the auto computer quoting system to immediately adjust subsequent quotes increasing the 'spread' and killing the profit potential for traders.

As long as Issuer's have the required 'presence' in the Market the ASX doesn't give a shlt about anything else they do ... sad but true.

    Cheers ... tight stops.

This is only my view ... read the red stuff.
