According to last week's 'The Australian' (business section) Andrew Forrest was in China, wining and dining with Chinese officials. So I guess the FMG /OBL deal is of much lesser consequence than dealing with the Chinese officials re: iron ore shipments. i.e. a few billion dollars of sales versus a few million dollars (at this stage) typing up an OBL deal.
A bit of patience (by some) would not go astray. As Sir Humphrey used to say on 'Yes Minister' "it will happen in the fullness of time".
