Businessman 'encouraged rape victim to take part in bestiality acts'
A NSW businessman who allegedly raped a teenage co-worker is also accused of having sex with animals.
The man also allegedly encouraged his victim, a boy who was aged between 13 and 15 at the time, to participate in the acts.
For more than two years from January 2003 the 53-year-old man "committed numerous offences of a sexual and indecent nature" on the young male colleague he befriended at a Coffs Harbour business, police say.
"Detectives will further allege the man committed four acts of bestiality and encouraged the teen to participate",' police said in a statement.
The man has now been charged with 21 sexual offences. The animals involved were cows at a dairy where the pair worked, police said.
The man was arrested on Wednesday near Coffs Harbour. His Toormina home was searched and a computer and other electronic items were taken for forensic examination. The charges include four counts of bestiality, two counts of aggravated sexual assault and six counts of aggravated indecent assault.
He was given conditional bail and is due before Coffs Harbour Local Court on February 10.
