Over a decade ago, MST was my first trade. In at about $1, it went up a bit, and then just sailed down, with muggins here buying in (catching the calling knife) topping up like an addict until just recently I vacuumed up millions at 0.1 cents!
What drug was I on?
Well, it's easy:
Conned by a sexy home-grown weapon. Call it patriotism. Call it lust for wonder-weapons.
I think the board knew all of this, a bit like how an advertising guru knows his herd-like market.
Anyway, my fingers are burnt and I'm a few grand saner, and happy to be over this little wake up call.
Sentiment - Pissed off.
Some of you other posters are right, Aus Government wastes tonnes of dosh on things like car manufacruting but couldn't give much thought for true innovation.
