From a purest scientific point of view, I agree that his view contradicts the theory of evolution which has definite views on how randomness is dealt with.
If I understand him correctly, he attempts to reconcile creationist views with those of most evolutionary biologists. Personally, I can't see how the two can be reconciled, but, yeah, good on him for trying.
