"it can keep it honest " is based ONLY on what 'it' currently peer-review understands. Your "inspiration from God" belief, the 'flood' & resurrection have no support from peer-reviewed scientific. Your belief along with the 'flood' etc is scientifically unproven thereby false. Christ does have a meesage to us though :- John 20:29 blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
