Starting or anything arising from absolute nothingness contradicts logic, therefore it must contradict science.
It may contradict our experiences as does much of science like relativity but it doesn't contradict science. Sorry.

Physical reality is form and function, it is not an absolute state of perfection. The eye serves its purpose. There is a nerve in the neck of the giraffe that passes through a hole in the bone and as the giraffe neck evolved that nerve could not detach and reattach so as to keep its journey short. That nerve travels down to the shoulders and back to the base of the skull. That is a clear indicator of evolution, but the animal functions exactly as a giraffe is meant to function. Evolution does not challenge the hypothesis of God. Physical realities purpose is to produce a creature capable of high degrees of consciousness with the ability to develop a spiritual capacity.
"Physical reality" does not challenge the hypothesis of God but science renders God as logically redundant and locally incompetent. There is no explanation for the source of God so God is not an explanation but kicks the can down the street for explanations.
It seems that you attribute God to things that we don't understand such as consciousness and spiritual capacity - whatever you mean by spiritual capacity.
As for infinite regression of evolution, we know we can not regress evolution infinitely. We know there is a starting point because of the paradox situation. Therefore there must be an uncreated state from which that which we know as our reality begins.
Correct. That is the reason that eyes and the giraffe's nerve in the neck are bad "designs".
God, whatever it may be is preexisting, there must be the uncreated state for the created to exist otherwise we have a self causing system that imposes order, laws, limits, etc upon itself before it exists, another paradox.
Simple question. What caused God which apparently is more complex than the universe?
That is the God hypothesis paradox.
