Genesis 3/5 speaks about the maturation of the human condition to the point that they have eaten from the tree of Good and Evil and thus are now responsible for their actions in doing good or evil.

There is this notion that humans were somehow perfect and then corrupted themselves, Original Sin and so on, death entering the human realm.

Humans in every age died and sinned, but today we have developed systems of morality, law, consequence, social protection, the power of the elite for the most part has been subdued and this did not exist in our past. We have never been higher, further from a fall socially and morally than we are today. Just because people challenge religion is not a sign of falling, it's just an honest questioning that every religion must be exposed to.

Humanity is rising from an animal state to human state and though this is a slow and painful process any just review of history shows how far we have come.

technologically we are certainly higher but us as human beings we are closer to the time of Noah than to the short sojourn humanity had in the garden.

The elite are governed by the greatest being ever created, we are on his home ground, even Michael with his power refrained from rebuke let alone subjection.
