No doubting SN is a genius and without SN we would not have a Nearmap or a Spookfish. Or the industry that we have now. To back and believe in one's vision and put your house on it and suffer for years and years because founder/inventor sells his shares in the early days of Nearmap that resulted in a multi multi multi bagger into the red you might understand why some long term holders are a bit cynical. I'm incredibly greatful to Stuart and everyone who ever worked for QPSX / Ipernica/ Nearmap especially Graham Griffiths and Ross Norgard for doing battle with Dutchie Telecom and Siemens in the German court system for what seemed like forever trying to prove the patent over broadband SAR technology, This lasted years and years. This was worthy of Roosevelt speech if ever there was one. That ultimately led to QPSX / Ipernica having the funds to back patent protection such as CSIRO's sterile ferel program and Stuarts invention. In all the years of holding QPSX investors only ever recieved a 1 cent dividend! many that have jumped onboard Nearmap probably dont know what a miracle it is that we have a Nearmap at all. And how much Graham Griffiths contributed to the Nearmap story. Every great invention only succeeded because of the people who back the invention and believe in the same vision. Its unfortunate how it all played out early on. And no doubt Stuarts invention will be as important as Thomas Edison's just from a different perspective shining light from the sky and capturing what is visible.
