Bubs went through a difficult first 6 weeks due to him being 4 weeks prem...jaundiced, really bad colic and reflux persisted until he was about 3 months old.

But then it was like someone switched on a light...and now he is really starting to kick some goals.

Still keeps shocking sleeping hours though...last night was just 2 hours sleep for us both and the night before that just 1...and before that can't remember...so walking about like a zombie at times.

Every now and then we get to sleep for 4 hours straight which is like winning tattslotto for us...it really helps re-charge the batteries.

A little white coloured "milk-bud" appeared on his bottom gum this morning...so first tooth on the way, which explains the restless nights and lack of sleep for mum and dad of late.

As hard as it is has been (working 14+ hour days, 7 days a week, then dealing with an unwell newborn on top of it all), the last 4 months have still been the most rewarding of my life.

It well and truly puts the market, and all the "stuff" that goes with it, into perspective.
