Directors have a general Corporations Act responsibility to act in the interests of all shareholders. I wonder how stock lending for the purposes of shorting would be viewed? I'm sure they all take their responsibilities seriously though. At least there's no suggestion of insider information being used for trading - despite the obvious price rises prior to announcements - mere coincidence I'm sure.
