I just had a look at the Teva purchase,
They did pay lot of money.
Hard to quantify as a man from outside unless you know the exact details.
Hence market bailed out and sold the pants of it due to uncertainty.
However any write off is a paper loss but on the other side does reflect a change in business in many ways.
There are too many counter trends too to see in the end where the company is going to land when annual numbers are announced and in 3-5 years.
As a long term investor i am looking beyond immediate effect.
Short term who knows...
I think lot of damage has already been done so may try to gather its feet.
Cautious ones can go to sidelines and decide later.
Depends what strategy and time frame one has.
