    Just a quick question...

Have people here ever had the misfortune of taking Chemotherapeutic agents? or perhaps been involved with family members who have? friends? patients you've looked after?

The problem with these drugs is that they are not curative, yet they have deleterious side-effects. They are all that we have available for non-curative cancers so that these poor people may extend their lives.

For every one chemo agent on the market, there are 10 other chemo agents with greater potential efficacy which have not made it due to toxicity leading to side-effects deemed too severe. Dr. Roger Aston himself has previously stated, "An interesting effect of PPL1 is that  when used in conjunction with existing chemotherapy treatments, PPL1 increases a drug’s potency by up to 100 times with no increase of toxicity.  This is a notable development as the dosage of existing cancer drugs may be reduced by a 100-fold lower and potentially maintain the same efficacy.  Dr Aston continued “PPL1 is exciting as it can open the market to drugs whose activity would be too toxic for certain kinds of cancer”

Do people realise the magnitude of this?? The financial implications of proving this up are enormous!
