Europe is a powderkeg on several fronts just waiting to explode. Confidence is smashed; another example of corruption or mismanagement that comes to light might just be that Pythonesque "last thin wafer" (do your own visualisations, I'm eating breakfast) that catalyses an implosion.
I hope I'm wrong SB but the feelgood stuff of the WorldCup, Wimbledon, Tour de France might be masking a nasty end to the European fiscal year.
