Mate, I'm no Main Roads engineer, but from limited local footage, its isolated damage, ( a long way from anywhere ) , its severe, and its Hwy 1 . Being Hwy 1, it should get the attention it deserves. That said, the protocols they operate under will slow it all down- safety, safety, then lets do something today, hey!! The Hwy to the west to Albany at Philips Rvr has lost half the bridge (Hwy 1). Getting the recourses there might be half the problem. 2 Weeks is hard, all said and done,.....but it'll take a while. Hey, and sachzs is just a poster, yes.
