Have people started thinking why the volatility of 300, 500 and 800 points in the US are getting to be the norm these past two weeks. Apart from the fear factors about the usual stuffs, something just does not add up.

Of course, I am must be the only weird one to question what have changes from one day to another...I starting to feel that there are serious manipulation going on there. Perhaps the big boys are having a major collusion and that should not surprised us here...

I hope our Investors would be able to bear the brunt of this. I have read that there are plenty of superannuation funds in cash - perhaps they will start to dip in the market slowly and on a daily basis to provide so level buying which would put a floor to the market.

I am getting used to volatility that I am not even to worried when the market is down 200 points. Senseless selling. We would get used to it eventually and the days when we have 50 points - so boring...

At the rate this is going, I do not think the Government would lift the short selling ban.
