Most announcements for a long time have been of a 'damp squid' nature. No one has benefited much from them - long term holders (like the poster you have in mind) or speculators like yourself.
The last announcement was a rather complicated one, suggesting the company was again toying with the idea of 'enhancing' the design of the NIRP with possible funding support from yet another prospective partner - again with no funding assured.
OK, there was a mini run up before the announcement. However it proved to be a flash in the pan immediately the details (and the lack of the required funding) became clear.
I don't think anyone would have made a fortune on the run-up to that announcement or indeed any of the company's last 6 or 7 announcements.
The only thing that will enable anyone to make serious money from APG is if it closes a substantial deal before the remaining funds run out.
APG has a record of relying on the supposed 'conman' and a number of other long term investors to continue to inject capital into APG to keep its dream of a suite of world class technologies alive.
In the present environment securing funding to buy APG more time to close a deal with a major is imperative.
