Here is the same GFC super trend and sub-trends on the XJO. (See my previous posts for a full explanation). This shows the GFC super trend (blue trend lines), the current sub-trend (black trend lines), and the sub-trend consolidating trends (red trend lines). The top 2 charts are day charts. The bottom chart is the current hourly chart.
You may notice that there are more consolidating trends within the sub-trend in the xjo than on the DJIA chart (see my previous post). IMO, that is because our market is not directly controlled by a central bank but does tend to give in and follow the US market when trends become apparent.
