Maybe place the waste heat exchangers at the base of a tower.
Let them heat air. The updraft can turn generator turbines.
In the daytime solar could heat the air in the tower AFTER it has gone through the exchangers.
This would speed up the updraft in the day.
At night the differential between exchanger and ambient could be enough, being more efficient.
