A year on from Abbot and Hockeys disastrous 2014 budget what have learned.
Well with consumer and business confidence slowly creeping back to the pre (but still very fragile) 2014 levels and the government reversing virtually everything they presented at that budget we can glean one of two things.
1 The 2014 budget was a disaster that has set back Australia, that every proposed "reform" of the government was a thought bubble that was complete nonsense and therefore we must judge the Government as clearly incompetent
or else
2 The 2014 budget was an honest attempt to redress underlying budgetary issues by introducing reforms and therefore the 2015 budget is a cynical exercise in vote buying and popularity in which the governments only concern is whats good for them rather than whats good for Australia and therefore we must judge the Government as clearly incompetent.
Thoughts please
