    I'd be thinking it is an expensive, marginally cleaner coal technology ... why not spend less and get a 60% reduction in CO2 emmissions by using ucg syngas and combined cycle turbines?

    Not a clever decision and a long way from best practice ... the instigator is going to look mighty silly when its obsolete before it is constructed imo!
