What does everyone make of the action over night? Prima facie the latest data looks good but that had a considerable fall in productivity which will add to costs.
Euro maintained the status quo. they are worried about euro appreciation but interest rates are at .75% which doesn't give much room to reduce them to devalue the euro.
I would have liked a run into gold rather than the greenback but gold is still a hedge option in uncertainty but the markets are manic, today they'll freakout then in 3 days pretend there a few economic worries in the world only to have another freakout in 2 weeks time.
