It is very frustrating... I first invested in NST when I saw a young man purchasing a mine for $27m and then without blinking paying 50% more for it.

Obviously it was a large amount of money, but very little risk for him because at the time he was being paid in shares.

The actions of the last year indicate that the board have no idea what to do with the cash and are taking poor advice or pressured by the finance professionals who want our money.

In my eyes what is critical is keeping costs low, productivity high and preparing for the gold price to drop below 1000/oz. It might never happen, but if it does there won't be many gold miners left standing. If gold stays above 1000/oz then hopefully all that cream gets passed to shareholders or reinvested in other productive mines.

I am currently dithering between buying and holding. Im waiting for that one day of panic selling at the moment; then I will top up.
