Watch MTR tonight

MTR.LSE was up 69% earlier this week while MOD was in its TH.

It followed on with further rises of 7.4% on Tuesday and a further 6% last night.

In fact, the stock has risen every day for the last six trading sessions...

Volume has been significantly higher during the last 3 trading sessions and in recent weeks generally. 125m shares have been traded this week (3 days) and 91m last week.

Over the 45 weeks between March last year and the w/e 22nd Jan this year, volume averaged 14m shares per week.

Over the next 4 weeks, average weekly volume rose to 22.6m shares pw and in the subsequent 3 weeks (w/e 12th Feb, 19th Feb & 29th Feb) the average weekly turnover was 54m shares.

And now 125m shares in 3 days this week....

There is interest about...let's hope this isn't a false dawn...bu more like the next SIR/SFR.
