I am quite aware of the HDR worship here.

That HDR worship nearly lulled me into buying the stock in the middle of last year around $2.40. It would have been a bad mistake. Thankfully I am experienced and able to do my own research. Now if it nearly caught me out, what about others?

I don't know why the HDR chart is so ordinary compared to numerous leading oilers. Eg. look at a chart of its partner in Mauritania, WPL, over the last three years and you get a completely different picture.

But I do know that when one chart is significantly out of kilter with the sector it is something that often pays not to dismiss as an aberration. It should sound some sort of alarm bells and deserve a very close look.
