QBE will not be outlining its profit nor giving a $ forecast. Good insurers work by margin and I would be thinking it will still be within the 16-18% outlined earlier in the year.
You need to remember that QBE deals in over 70 countries and hundreds of different juristictions and they could not possibly give a bottom line figure for an investor presentation prior to a half year or full year result.
But knowing how this market insists on short term gains and forgets about the long term, this report may disappoint some.
Long term holders wont be fazed.
