Mate it is not a joke I have done the same thing closed out all positions and will wait for the report.
If the report is bad then we can buy in again in time with much lower price and we won't lost a cent.
If the report is good we can buy in again at higher price but we will have more probability of making money.
LOOKING AT MARKET ACTION TODAY there were more traders including you and me who don't take no chance and take no gambling and sold out......price came down....a confirmation
and it is a reality not what we wish for.......
So holding big position before report and after weeks of underperforming market is more like gambling than trading.
I like buying high and selling higher........and would rather miss a few point then getting caught in a downside trend........I need a better edge than this..........
