Noone opposed the rise for minimum wage earners, so i am not sure who you are raging against . Despite much of the rhetoric the Chambers of commerce and other industry groups were all in agreeance and all advocated for a rise to the minimum wage, albeit some were 2.5% some 3% and so on. The minimum wage goes up every year . Not all glitter is gold though ,who will receive it? All the large big business employers either pay above award or get sweetheart deals hand in hand with unions with their own EBA ala Mcdonalds .. min. award wage earners are typically small cafe workers, process workers, small factories etc all of which the employees do become expendable if they are too costly to employ to small business. So yet again we see the labor party waving about with the right hand while the left hand is actually favoring big business who will be the winners with this type of policy.
